Department of Nursing
Brief History:
The Department of Nursing was originally founded in 1970. After the development for more than four decades, it currently recruits five-year college students. There are more than 2,200 students in our department in total. The teaching quality is guaranteed since our academic staffs have obtained qualified academic degrees and possessed clinical experiences in nursing care.
Objectives:
Nursing Department provides rigorous training for students to follow the principles of our school motto. Besides, students are encouraged to develop the insights of respecting and caring people, and further to equip themselves with professional knowledge and skills.
Features:
- All nursing teachers are experienced nurses. They teach students with the insights of caring, ethics, communication and cooperation, and critical thinking. They are students’ role models because they show students how to be a responsible and professional nurse in class and during practical training.
- Our graduates will be a registered nurse after obtaining national licenses.
- Our graduates also pursue their further degree in any universities they like.
Curriculum:
We focus on both professional nursing knowledge and general education. Our curriculum includes Medical-surgical Nursing, Maternal Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Community Health Nursing, etc..
